Wowhead Character Profiler

I just saw a post from WoW.com that Wowhead just released their new character profiler site. It works similar to other character profiles in that it pulls data from the armory, but has the added convenience of integrating directly with wowhead.com. That’s the best of both worlds! The site includes some nifty features like the ability to compare gear or search for upgrades directly from your profile. It also shows your raid progression, current gems and enchants, and even a gear score so you can see where your character fits with everyone else. You can also save profiles so you can show off multiple sets of gear and even a wish list set if you have one. Shaman Class Q&A

Blizzard has started a series of class-specific question and answer sessions where they take community questions and provide answers or feed back. First up: shaman! The goal of the Q&A was to “find out more about the design philosophy behind the class, the expectations for the class, and what may lie in store for it in the future.” The usual topics are brought up. Enhancement Shaman Changes in 3.1

Once again patch day is upon us. Patch 3.1 is a significant update to World of Warcraft. It adds a whole new instance (Ulduar), an option to dual-spec, the Argent Tournament with lots of daily quests to run (think Sunwell Isle), several UI improvements, and tons of class changes.

The changes to the shaman class are not that sevear in my opinion. Our elemental totems get a buff, Flametongue Weapon now scales with weapon speed, and Lava Lash gains a new icon! Wrath of the Lich King: In Stores 11-13-2008

Blizzard has officially announced the release date of their next expansion pack entitled “Wrath of the Lich King”. The game will be available, in stores, on Thursday, November 13th, 2008.
